Grades Supply List
Early Childhood Supply List
TRCCS is working out of the principles of Public Waldorf Education and has specific supplies for our curriculum. We ask that all items brought to school be free of commercial characters and have the child’s name on them. Outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather needs to be worn to school each day. Children spend between 1 to 2.5 hours outside each day.
Prekindergarten and Kindergarten students should be prepared to go outside everyday. Students can bring layered clothing for warmth, rain boots/coat, winter gear, etc daily or they can bring items to be left at school.
School Year Calendar
Enrollment in the Tomorrow River Community Charter School (TRCCS) is a choice to participate in a specific approach to education that requires a strong working partnership between the school and every family member.
TRCCS is dedicated to a positive discipline approach in which the ultimate goal is that the children develop self-discipline, mutual respect, a sense of responsibility for their actions, and an intrinsic desire to make things right. TRCCS is committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for every child. We are equally committed to helping our children grow into healthy, happy, and responsible adults. In order to respect, care for, and work with others, children must learn to truly love and respect themselves.
TRCCS Cares is set of expectations for students around the school, on the bus, spaces when they are with teachers or when they have more independent moments. These cares reflect the Heart (Care for self), Hands (Care for others) and Head (Care for learning) approach to building a positive school community.
